Women of Worth (W.O.W.)
Empowering Women to Embrace Their Worth and Walk in Destiny
Women of Worth (W.O.W.) is the official Women’s Ministry of Christian Worship Center (CWC), founded through the vision and passion of Co-Pastor Constance Poitier Christian. W.O.W. exists to help women from all walks of life discover their God-given worth, embrace their potential, and reclaim the dreams and visions that may have been set aside due to life’s challenges.
More than just a ministry—W.O.W. is a sisterhood. Mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, and mentors come together to create an atmosphere of unity, healing, and spiritual growth. The ministry is rooted in the truth of Psalm 139:14, affirming that every woman is “fearfully and wonderfully made,” and grounded in the strength of Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ.”
Through monthly gatherings, W.O.W. hosts powerful prayer sessions, uplifting forums, and real-life conversations led by Pastor Constance and guest speakers. Topics include relationships, health, family, self-worth, spiritual development, and living a purposeful and abundant life.
Women of Worth is more than a name—it’s a calling. It’s a movement dedicated to strengthening women, one life at a time.

Men of Distinction
Empowering Men. Transforming Communities.
The Men of Distinction (MOD) is the official Men’s Ministry of Christian Worship Center, founded in 1997 as a Christ-centered response to the urgent needs facing African American men, their families, and their communities. Inspired by a vision from Bishop C.D. Kinsey—Presiding Bishop of the Church of God in Christ, Central Florida Jurisdiction—MOD was created to uplift men spiritually, socially, and economically through faith, leadership, and accountability.
The first MOD gathering took place in February 1997 at the Leesburg Public Library, bringing together a core group of committed leaders: Minister John Christian, Mr. Marcus Niblack, Mr. Coy Poitier, Mr. Gilbert Niblack, Pastor Lonnie Smith, Evangelist Constance Christian, Pastor Joseph Wiggins, and Mr. Hal Reeves. These pioneers were moved to action by a sobering statistic—that more African American men were in prison than in college—and united around a shared mission to break that cycle through faith-based initiatives and community engagement.
Since its founding, Men of Distinction has played a vital role in the spiritual and social development of men across Leesburg and Lake County. The ministry hosts programs, mentorship opportunities, and community events aimed at restoring hope, rebuilding families, and raising up responsible, purpose-driven men.
Whether through youth mentorship, men’s retreats, outreach events, or economic empowerment workshops, MOD continues to shape the lives of men and the future of their communities—one relationship at a time.

CWC Youth!
Raising Up the Next Generation of Disciples
At Christian Worship Center, we believe that today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders—and we are committed to equipping them with the faith, wisdom, and character to walk boldly into their God-given destiny.
Our Youth Ministry is a vibrant and welcoming space where young people can grow spiritually, connect socially, and serve purposefully. Through dynamic teaching, age-appropriate worship, community outreach, and engaging events, we help youth build a strong foundation in Christ while navigating real-life challenges with confidence.
Whether it’s Sunday youth services, midweek Bible studies, leadership training, or youth-led worship nights, CWC Youth is a place where students are empowered to express their faith, discover their gifts, and experience God in a real and personal way.
From middle school to high school and beyond, we’re raising up a generation that knows who they are in Christ—and isn’t afraid to live it out.

Sha Kha Kara Dance Ministry
Dancing Before the Lord in Spirit and in Truth
The Sha Kha Kara Dance Ministry is a vibrant and powerful expression of worship at Christian Worship Center. As an integral part of our praise and worship experience, this ministry exists to create an atmosphere where the presence of God can move freely and minister to His people through the art of dance.
Rooted in Psalm 150:4 – “Praise Him with the tambourine and dancing” – our dancers offer up praise with clean hands and pure hearts, using movement as a form of spiritual warfare, healing, and breakthrough. Each dance is not a performance but a prayer—meant to break yokes, lift burdens, and prepare hearts to receive the Word of God.
Through expressive worship, the Sha Kha Kara Dance Ministry helps usher in God’s presence, bringing freedom, joy, and restoration to the congregation. It is our honor and privilege to minister before the Lord, and we count it a sacred calling to glorify Him through dance.
Come experience the beauty of worship in motion—and witness how praise through dance can transform hearts and lives.
